This medical spa in Los Angeles had already been in business for some time, but never invested much in online marketing. When their growth started to stagnate, they came to EDNA Digital Marketing to grow and the data below shows the results of their SEO campaign.

Goals

  • 20-40% Lead Generation (combo of both GBP calls + onsite conversions (forms/calls depending on the tracking setup)

Action Plan

  1. Extensive keyword research to find relevant keywords including competitive analysis
  2. Optimize GMB profile from top to bottom
  3. Built relevant niche and local citations
  4. Optimized onsite for location signals
  5. Post weekly on their GMB profile to increase additional signals
  6. Evaluate the site's content silo for content strategy
  7. Create and publish monthly blogs as supplementary content for target keywords

June 2021 Keyword ranking

In June 2021, DSC Laser & Skin Care Center had 1,093 keywords

  • 40 of these keywords were ranking in the top 3 positions;
  • 53 keywords were ranking in the top 4–10 positions;
  • 104 keywords were ranking in the top 11–20 positions;
  • 392 keywords were ranking in the top 21–50 positions;
  • 504 keywords rank in positions 51–100. 

Campaign Results

In June 2024, DSC Laser & Skin Care Center had 2,027 keywords.

  • 87 keywords were ranking in the top 3 positions, an increased of 117.5%
  • 167 keywords were ranking in the top 4-10 positions, an increased of 215%
  • 229 keywords were ranking in the top 11-20 positions, an increased of 120%
  • 699 keywords were ranking in the top 21-50 positions, an increased of 70.66%
  • 875 keywords were ranking in the top 51-100 positions, an increased of 73.61%

To compare, the website has gained 934 new keywords since June 2021.
