Erik Heninger

Erik Heninger’s passion for law began at the family dinner table, inspired by his father’s work helping others through legal advocacy. He earned his English degree from Birmingham-Southern College and his law degree from Cumberland School of Law in 2001, and is licensed in Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi.


Erik focuses on civil litigation, representing clients with serious injuries in cases involving trucking accidents, medical negligence, nursing home abuse, and more. He is active in the American Association of Justice and has held leadership roles including Past President of the Alabama Association of Justice.


Highly recognized in his field, Erik is board certified in civil trial law, holds an AV Preeminent rating, and has been named among Alabama’s Top Lawyers. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and two children.
