Anne Mailhot

Anne Mailhot is a Physician Associate with over 10 years of clinical experience, the majority of which has been spent in oncology. Throughout her career, she witnessed many cancer survivors express a desire to restore aspects of their pre-cancer appearance, often hesitating out of fear of judgment or appearing vain after surviving a life-threatening illness. Anne recognized the need to change that narrative.

In 2020, she embraced her artistic passion, quickly gaining recognition through magazine features, gallery exhibitions, and art shows. This journey led her to unite art and medicine by founding Muse Medical Artistry and creating the trademarked service Restorative Oncology. Her practice provides a safe, judgment-free space where cancer survivors are empowered to restore confidence, reclaim identity, and thrive—not just survive.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll learn:

  • Discover why traditional hormone testing may not tell the whole story about your health and well-being.
  • Learn the signs that could indicate a hormone imbalance and why they often go unrecognized.
  • Explore the various methods of hormone delivery and how personal preference plays a crucial role in treatment effectiveness.
  • Gain insights into the unique considerations for treating darker skin tones and the importance of tailored approaches in aesthetics.
  • Uncover common misconceptions about aesthetic treatments and hormones that could be holding you back from seeking help.
  • Get actionable tips on how to vet aesthetic practitioners to ensure safety and competence in your treatment journey.
  • Understand how an artistic eye can enhance medical practice, particularly in aesthetics, and why it matters for patient outcomes.
  • Hear about the shift towards regenerative treatments and the growing emphasis on natural, refreshed appearances.
  • Learn about the commitment to making luxury aesthetic services accessible to all, especially underserved communities.
  • Reflect on the deeper meaning of beauty beyond physical appearance, focusing on confidence and inner qualities.

Anne sheds light on the delicate balance of hormones and how traditional medical practices often overlook the nuances of individual needs. What are the common symptoms that might indicate a hormone imbalance, and why is it crucial to look beyond standard lab results? This episode promises to challenge your perceptions and deepen your understanding of how hormones impact overall well-being.

Anne discusses the importance of tailoring treatments to honor the natural beauty of diverse ethnicities, rather than conforming to a one-size-fits-all approach. What are the potential pitfalls of ignoring these differences, and how can practitioners ensure that everyone feels represented and cared for?
