Dr. Daniel Yamini

Dr. Daniel Yamini was originally from Westlake Village, a suburb of Los Angeles, was a distinguished student and valedictorian at Westlake High School. His academic excellence earned him a scholarship to Stanford University, where he studied biology and psychology. Initially aspiring to specialize in psychiatry, Dr. Yamini's interest shifted to surgery during medical school. He underwent extensive surgical training at Harbor-UCLA, excelling as a clinician, surgeon, and researcher. His training covered various surgical fields, including breast, open-heart, thoracic, vascular, and oncology surgery, with a particular focus on plastic surgery under UCLA's esteemed faculty. Dr. Yamini also completed an advanced fellowship in facial and body cosmetic surgery with a world-renowned cosmetic surgeon. Despite an offer to join that practice, he chose to open Sunset Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Steven Svehlak, establishing his own practice.
