Innovative Techniques for Stunning Results with Dr. Stephen Ellis and Sonya Ellis, MSN, RN, CPSN, CANS

Dr. Ellis is not only co-founder of the L.A.B. med spa, but also serves as one of its Medical Directors. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He also works for Metro Anesthesia and currently serves on numerous committees for the group. He serves as Chief of Staff for Medical City Lewisville and the Medical Director for Trinity Park Surgery Center. He is a proud alumnus of Texas A&M University – Gig ‘em Aggies!

Dr. Ellis is the recipient of the Frist Humanitarian Award which recognizes others who are dedicated to improving the lives of others and going beyond everyday kindness. He has two favorite organizations where he donates most of his time and energy – MS 150 and Faith in Practice.

Sonya provides a comprehensive consultation including skincare, neuromodulators, dermal fillers and resurfacing treatments. She will provide answers to all the patient’s cosmetic questions and formulate a treatment plan for each individual patient’s skin type, concern and desire for the future. She has a knack for developing long-term relationships with her patients and prefers to take a more conservative approach, to provide a natural looking but artistic result. With the patient’s help, she will prioritize their concerns and create a list of treatment options. Her goal is for the patient to receive the safest, most results oriented, longest-lasting and cost effective treatment available.

Sonya started her nursing career in 1998 as a nurse’s aide while she worked her way through nursing school, and now she is one of only two nurses in the state of Texas who are not only certified in Aesthetics but also Plastic Surgery. She has spent the past two decades training with the best plastic surgeons and dermatologists from around the world to develop her own unique techniques and consultations. She has a palpable passion for the industry and runs a very busy injectable practice in the Southlake area. She has not only earned the respect of her peers but also physicians for having an outgoing personality and providing quality aesthetic care and referrals.
