Gwen Bijayayothin

Gwen is a doctorate-prepared Nurse Practitioner. Her background is Thai and Vietnamese.


She moved from Thailand to California in 2002. She went to college in California and obtained her first nursing degree in 2007. Since then, she has been continuing her education while working as a Registered Nurse. In 2015, She decided to advance her career and went to Western University of Health Science where she received her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.  At the time, she received a nationally recognized honor award from Who’s Who Among Students at American Universities and Colleges. In 2019, Gwen obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from California State University of Fullerton/ Long Beach/ Los Angeles where she is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and Honor Society of Nursing. She acquired certifications in nonsurgical medical aesthetic procedures from training courses and accredited workshops in 2018. She continues to receive more advanced training on a regular basis while at work and other accredited programs.


With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Gwen has been working in various settings and roles as well as medical/surgical, family, obstetrics & gynecology, emergency, and aesthetic medicine. For the last 5 years, she has been working as a Nurse practitioner in an outpatient setting mostly in aesthetic and emergency medicine. She found that these two specialties are a great balance for her career and she is very fascinated by these two fields. Her love for aesthetic medicine stands out more than others because this field allows her to combine things that she loves like beauty and science. In addition, she is able to help others to look and feel good about themselves.
