  • Explore how experienced family law attorneys help parents stay focused on solutions that benefit their children.
  • Get practical insight into what judges consider when parents disagree about custody arrangements.
  • Understand why keeping children at the center of every decision can lead to better long term outcomes for families.

  • Gain a clearer understanding of the legal process parents can expect when custody issues become contested.

In this episode…

When custody becomes a battle, what are courts really looking for when deciding a child's future? Many parents enter custody disputes believing the system favors one parent over another, but the reality is often far more complex. What happens when emotions, past grievances, and the desire to be heard begin to overshadow what is truly best for the child?

Chimere shares how high conflict divorce and custody cases develop, why unresolved emotions often fuel legal disputes, and how parents can avoid common mistakes that make these situations even more difficult. She also discusses the myths surrounding parental rights, the role of mediation in resolving family disputes, and how her experience serving as a guardian ad litem, mediator, arbitrator, and parenting coordinator provides a unique perspective on helping families move forward. The conversation also explores real world examples of parents struggling to balance personal frustrations with the long term needs of their children.

In this episode of Verdict Signal, host Daniel Gouw interviews Chimere Chisolm-Trimble, Managing Attorney of Chisolm Trimble & Associates in Georgia. The discussion covers high conflict custody disputes, misconceptions about parental rights, child-centered legal strategies, divorce litigation, mediation, and the importance of protecting family relationships throughout the legal process. Tune in to learn how to make informed choices that protect what you build.
